I spend at a minimum two hours a week in “status” meetings. One meeting is scheduled in advance until at least January. Every meeting I’m sure sucks at least 2 days off my life. It hurts. Getting twenty people into a room to “see where we’re at” is the worst idea ever. Buzzwors for these meeting are feedback, bandwidth, action item, cc me, and my personal favorite “go live”. There are many more but those are the big ones. Just so you know this week we moved from yellow status to red status due to bandwidth and our resources. Update your calendars this may impact the dates.
