Today was Megacon, nothing like lots of kids dressed like ninjas and cartoon characters to spice up a Sunday. Apparently Sunday is the the best day to go to a con. There were hardly any lines so you can get stuff signed or chat it up with the creators fairly easily.
Steve McNiven and David Finch were the hilights, they were both really nice guys and didn’t accept credit cards which was a good thing…$1500 is a lot of money for a drawing, but it seemed totally worth it.
Margot Kidder and Sean Astin were there along with the Pedro from Napolean Dyanamite. I can’t see paying money for any of those autographs. I must say I was hoping Margot Kidder would flip out and bite someone but it didn’t happen.
It gets smaller every year I swear. Or maybe I’m getting bigger. There’s a fat joke in there but I don’t care.
